“For me, the value of education is its power to teach acceptance and tolerance, and the sense of community and helping others.  A good education empowers children and allows them to teach themselves many things.  A good education also builds students’ self-confidence and enables them to make healthy decisions and to solve life’s challenges using the logic of reasoning.  Throughout my career, I’ve been a classroom teacher but I’ve also been an activities and trip planner/supervisor.  I believe strongly in giving children hands-on opportunities to do things.” – Tarek Dahdah
