September 16th marked the beginning of the numerous activities that will be offered by 12th grade this year.
“I had an amazing time taking part in the bake sale to be honest, and it was a great new experience for us 12th graders,” said Rakan Quaqzeh, a student in 12B.
We started off with a bake sale since it is the most familiar activity for students of all ages. We brought homemade goods, snacks and food from restaurants and it’s safe to say that everyone enjoyed them, since we sold out within a couple hours.
“I sold chips, chocolate, candy and more. It was great seeing the smiles on everyone’s faces,” said Ghazi Loukasha, a student in 12B.
Many thanks to all of those who participated as both sellers and buyers. This event was very successful for us seniors and we hope to offer even more enjoyable activities throughout the year
“I would love to take part in the next bake sale. I’m hoping we could plan another bake sale in time for Christmas to spread the holiday cheer, with twice as much food, so we can have enough for everyone including the teachers and staff,” Rakan said.
The money raised in the bake sale will go towards the senior’s graduation celebrations.
