AHSS 9th grader Leen Abu Hijleh was recently awarded the “Diploma de Español como Lengua Extranjera” (DELE) certificate for knowledge of the Spanish Language. DELE Spanish diplomas are official qualifications accrediting the degree of competence and mastery of the Spanish language, awarded by the Cervantes Institute on behalf of the Spanish Ministry of Education, Vocational Training and Sports.
The certificate is one of the highest honors students can receive in the Spanish Language and the award came from Madrid, Spain. AHSS is proud to have Leen as a student and a true scholar of language learning.
School Director Tarek Dahdah congratulated Leen on the achievement. “Congratulations for your achievement, which doubtlessly required much effort and hard work on your part. We are all proud of you and wish you future successes even bigger than this one,” he said.
