Moodie Saad Alboresha graduated from Abdul Hamid Sharaf School in 2018. She went on to study Business, Media, and Social Sciences at the University of Sussex, later completing a degree in International Development, a program ranked first in the world at Sussex University.
She worked as an International Student Ambassador for the Middle East and North Africa, where she assisted over 2,000 students in securing placements at more than 50 universities across the United Kingdom. She then served as a Political Affairs Ambassador for a non-governmental organisation, supporting efforts related to Official Development Assistance in collaboration with the UK’s Ministry of External Affairs and the Department for International Development.
In her free time, she volunteered as a language instructor, helping refugees seeking asylum in the UK learn English. She also served on the advisory board for the UNA-UK meeting for the Summit of the Future, working alongside Members of Parliament, UN officials, international organisations, and representatives from the Ministry of External Affairs.
She later became the Founder and Executive Director of the Brighten Foundation, an organisation dedicated to providing learning opportunities tailored to the needs of community members. Through workshops and programs, the foundation supports youth and women in developing their careers and accessing meaningful opportunities.
Always striving for personal and professional growth, and deeply committed to uplifting her community, she continues to work toward a brighter future. The best is yet to come.
