Students will compete against others in their age group. Matches will be played during P.E. and recess over a period of several weeks. Staff and parents can compete in a separate tournament. The tournament will be free to enter and prizes will be awarded.
A.H.S.S. Ping Pong Tournament & Practice Sessions
Tournament matches will start on Sunday, Feb. 16 during school hours. The tournament will be a double elimination one, with winners decided by “the best of three matches”; semifinals and finals will be decided by “the best of five matches.”

For Saturday training, the school will open from 10:30 am to 3:30 pm. Please limit your training to 60 minutes. Paddles and balls will be available for borrowing. They are also available in the bookstore for sale.
Parents/teachers are welcomed to train with their children or separately,
Students need parental permission to stay after school and must remain in school until the end of the sessions (permission forms will be available with Ms. Abir for parents to sign and return),
After school training and matches will take place on the following days this month from 2:00 to 3:30 pm:
Mondays, Feb. 10, 17, 24: Grades 10-12 and parents/teachers,
Tuesdays, Feb. 11, 18, 25: Grades 7-9 and parents/teachers,
Wednesdays, Feb. 12, 19, 26: Grades 4-6 and parents/teachers,
Saturdays, Feb. 15, 22, March 1: All players welcomed,
10:30 am – 3:30 pm
