T oday, The American Education Event held at AHSS brought representatives of accredited American Universities and Colleges. The event represented a wide variety of institutions that fit all the students’ interests. Students of AHSS from grades 11 and 12 (Juniors and Seniors) got to interact with admissions representatives from over 20 US colleges and universities that had participated in the event with individual stalls. Students have had the opportunity to discover American Educational system, which is considered the best in the world.
The fair acted as a platform for the institutions to attract interested students from our school. Universities and Community Colleges alike gave useful information regarding the students’ chances of being admitted, admission procedure, required documents, housing, tuition and fees, available scholarships and merits for the prospective student.
A wide variety of majors were offered from the universities and colleges ranging from science, pre-medicine, pre-pharmacy, engineering: aeronautical, civil, architecture, art, computer science, and technology to name a few.
More than 20 universities from all around the states have visited our school to attract interested students in studying in the US.
