AHSS @ The Robotics Competition

AHSS  participated on Sunday, April 7th, 2019, in the Arab FIRST LEGO League 2019 robotics competition in Amman. under the patronage of HRH Prince Hamzah. The Website Club and the  school body congratulates you all for your hard-work, great teamwork, and high ethics. We are all proud of you!

Here is a piece of the student Lama about the competition and the club:

In general, the Robotics Club at our school is a place where we (the members) go to have fun while learning something new.  The members didn’t know each other at first, however, as time passed while we were working, we got to know each other much better, and now we are all friends.
The students: Lama (Me), Ban, Owen, Loui, Jasin, Laith , and Rayan were split into different groups for the competition.
Ban, Rayan, and Laith went to the programming part of our project, since they felt enjoyment in doing what they loved to do. They learned how to program the robot to do many functions.

The rest and I went into the hardware (department) where we learnt to build the foundation of our project.
We had help from our two great coaches Mr. Zaid and Mr. Malek, where they both found a way to teach us how to work on the project and how to have fun while doing it. Although we didn’t win in the competition, we sure enjoyed learning how to build and program the robot, and we would not have been able to do this without our two coaches, and Mrs. Sue’s support as well.
